Meaning:
The fern fronds are canting elements, as the communes name means "fern glade", or simply "place of ferns". The crown is alluding to the local patron saint, whose "Empire" is covering seven different zones of the commune. Rose and star are representing Our Lady of Lourdes, whose honour day is celebrated in the commune since 1883. The barrulets wavy are stressing the coastal character of the commune.
