The arms are Purpure over a base wavy Argent and Azure in central chief a tiara Argent adorned Or flanked by a wheat ear Or and a corn cob Or leaved Argent. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "S. SILVESTRE - COIMBRA".
Meaning:
The base probably symbolizes Velho river, the tiara probably is alluding to St. Sylvester, the Pope and the crops are symbolizing agriculture.
