The Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL), established by Decree No. 8,600
issued on 12 June 1996, is a nonprofit private institution affiliated to the
Supreme Islamic Shii Council.
The IUL is composed of nine Faculties. It has four campuses located in Khaldeh, Wardanieh, Tyre and Baalbek.
The flag of the IUL is white with the university's logo.
