Description of the flag

The county flag comprises five horizontal stripes of light green, blue fimbriation, white, blue fimbriation and light green in the same proportions as the stripes of the Kenya national flag.  In the centre of the flag within a black circle outline is the county emblem with the words "COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MARSABIT" above.  The emblem is composed of a map of the county in brown with a thorn tree and silhouette of a cow and camel in green and white respectively.
