A military commander of the Murakami Naval Force, lord of Nojima Castle in Iyo Province. He served Mouri Terumoto with his navy, and moved to Chikuzen under Kobayakawa Takakage after Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Shikoku was pacified. The war banner has red background with two white horizontal stripes and kanji 上 the initial of his family name in white in a circle.
