In 1609, he succeeded to his father's estate of Obama in Wakasa Province and 90,000 goku of Takashima in Omi Province. He was on the Tokugawa side during the Osaka Winter and Summer Campaign.In 1624, he was granted an additional 20,000 goku in Tsuruga, Echizen Province, and another 260,000 goku in Izumo and Oki Provinces. The war banner has red background with white four Meyuis. The "meyui" is a fabric pattern created by making holes during the dyeing process.
