Presentation of Sveti Đurđ

The municipality of Sveti Đurđ ("St. George"; 4,174 inhabitants in 2001, 743 in the village of Sveti Đurđ) is located some 30 km east of Varaždin and about 3 km due north of Ludberg.

Flag of Sveti Đurđ

The symbols of Sveti Đurđ are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Sveti Đurđ, adopted on 5 October 2001 by the Municipality Assembly and published in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, No. 20. This is repeated in the current Statutes Statut Općine Sveti Đurđ, adopted on 9 September 2009 and published on 16 September 2009 in Službeni vjesnik Varaždinske županije, No. 32.
The symbols were originally prescribed in the first Municipality Statutes, adopted in 1994 (Varaždinske vijesti, 6 April 1994).

The flag is in proportions 1:2, blue with the coat of arms in the middle.
