Symbols of Jamilena

The Municipality of Jamilena has its own symbols, but the date of their adoption is unknown.

  • Coat of arms:

Description: Or, a red Calatrava cross. Crest: a closed royal crown.
Meaning: Like other municipalities in Jaén, the Order of Calatrava was based in the town, which is why its cross appears on the coat of arms.

  • Flag:

Description: Divided horizontally into three stripes, the upper and lower ones purple and with a width equivalent to 1/5 of the total cloth, and the central one yellow, with a width of 3/5 of the cloth and charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms.
