Limbach Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a linden proper with 13 leaves, base Vert a fess wavy Azure fimbriated Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are canting, as the name of the municipality is derived from "linden near the creek". The arms are based on a municipal seal from 1932. The linden probably is referring to that one, which had been planted by Gottlob Lohse as an atonement, because he took part of the insurrection in Dresden in May 1849.
