Niedermurach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules a fess dancetty Argent, at sinister paly of six of Argent and Azure.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of the Lords of Murach, local rulers from the 13th until the 19th century. The family also owned large estates all over the Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz). The sinister half displays the arms of the Lords of Pertolzhofen, who lived in the village since 1290 and ruled the Pertolzhofen district (Bavarian: Hofmark) until 1714. The former namesake municipality had the same arms between 1958 and 1972.
