Unterroth Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale of Gules and Argent, two lions rampant addorsed in counterchanged colours.
The Bishops of Augsburg and the Counts of Rechberg had been the most important local rulers until the beginning of the 19th century. The shield parted per pale is representing the bishops and the lions the counts.
