Sable between two wheat ears Argent issuant from a triplemount Or a flaming sword point downwards of the same.
Meaning:
The golden triplemount is a canting element, meaning "the fair mountain". The sword is an attribute of St. Michael, patron saint of the local parish church, formerly known as "St. Michael in the Wood". The wheat ears are symbolising agriculture and the rural character of the village.
