Hausham Coat of Arms

Renaissance shield Argent, above from two sticks Gules in saltire an impending demi-eagle Gules beaked Or.
Meaning:
The municipal arms are also the family arms of the Lords of Waldeck from Hohenwaldeck, they had been Bavarian commissionaires in Freising and established an important lordship around the Schliersee lake. The demi-eagle is alluding to the relationship beween the lords and the Holy Roman Empire. The sticks are symbolising forest clearance. The municipal arms are furthermore part of the county arms.

The arms were granted 27 January 1911 to Agatharied Municipality by Prince Regent Luitpold of Bayern. When Agatharied was incorporated by Hausham in 1922, Hausham adopted the arms. The banner has never been approved officially.
