Markt Einersheim Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a bunch of six baccate fruit Gules stemmed Vert and kept together by an annulet Or.
Meaning:
Einersheim gained the rights of a market town around 1542, a date given in the first local seal, which already displayed the current pattern of the arms. The so called berries were interpreted different. Otto Hupp denoted them as rose hips, the fruit of a dog rose (Latin: Rosa canina). Older versions displayed them as fruit of poppy (Latin: Papaver bracteatum). When the arms were confirmed in 1847, the berries were denoted either as rose hips or as wild pears.
