Mötzingen Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a silver (= white) chalice.
Meaning:
Since 1920 the municipality had a seal displaying the chalice between two branches of laurel. The branches were omitted not later than 1946. The meaning of the chalice is not known. There are speculations that it is related to the collegiate church of Herrenberg.
