Burgkirchen Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, above a scythe blade Or in fess, beneath an alembic Argent on a tripod Or in base.
Meaning:
The blade is representing agriculture, the alembic is representing the important chemical industry, which settled down in the municipality since 1940 and caused the quadruplication of the number of inhabitants. The tinctures blue and white are those of Bayern.
