Description of the flag

The flag of the City of Rossland, British Columbia, is blue with city shield on it. The shield is red and white with skier and crown. The coat of arms is granted in 1996, but there is no info about the flag. Image of the flag thanks to Tracey Butler, Corporate Officer.

"Location: Rossland is located approximately halfway between Vancouver and Calgary on Highway 3B, only 6 kilometres north of the U.S. border. Small-town life: With a population of 3,557, no traffic lights or sprawling malls, the City of Rossland is really a small town. But back in 1897 when tremendous gold finds lured thousands of people, Rossland incorporated.
