The Flag

Baranovichskiy rayon is one of 16 rayons of the Brestskaya Oblast. It seems that very recently Baranovichskiy and Brestskiy Counties in Brestskaya Region adopted their own flags. They can be seen on photos that I exchange with Viktor Lomantsov

According to the Telegram channel of the Baranovichi District Executive Committee, a meeting was held on February 10, 2022, to discuss the symbols that were eventually adopted. There was an online poll to pick whether the base of the shield would be designed with gold or silver. The flag itself has the shield of the district, but the inverse of the color pattern of the national flag. The link provided shows the red to green ratio was 2:1. There seems to have been a blue flag used prior to the adoption of this flag, but I will poke around the Telegram channel. However, it did use a flag displayed here.
