Description of arms (German): In einem gespaltenen Schild vorne in Schwarz ein silberner gestürzter, geschmiedeter Nagel, hinten in Rot ein silbernes Tatzen-Kreuz mit größerem Längsbalken. [1] [2]
Blazoning of arms (English): Per pale: dexter Sable, a nail point upwards Argent; sinister Gules, a cross patty Argent, the vertical bar longer than the horizontal one.
Adoption date of arms: 18 March 1928 (based on the old arms first attested 1592)

This one is particular, as already Ströhl in 1904 [stl04] mentions the flag, which is totally uncommon:
"Die Ortsflagge wird heute noch schwarz-rot geführt." (The village flag is still used in black-red.)

In addition to the version showing the arms, there is also one without the arms. Probably this version was used more extensively in the past, when most municipal flags were plain striped flags without arms.
