Municipality of Corzuela in the Department of General Belgrano, Chaco, adopted its official flag on 17.12.2019:

This morning the winning design of the contest "A flag for my city" was presented to society. There were 12 participants whose designs after being evaluated by the jury determined as the winner that of Gustavo Valles, who among other aspects, highlights the access arch, the animal that gives its name to our city, crops, pampa ribbon in allusion to our condition of "Provincial Capital of Tradition", among other details that were decisive for his choice, in addition to complying with the parameters established by the protocol, which was directed by Mr. Andolfi.

Mayor Rafael Carrara thanked Alicia Lombardo for her selfless work on behalf of the legislative branch, as well as the jury chaired by Rolando Andolfi, and made up of Professor Silvia Silvestri, Sculptor Romina Cabrera, and former Coordinator of Culture, Cristian Pineda. The contest, which took place over several months and had different stages, culminated today when the winning design was announced at a press conference.

The communal chief also presented distinctions to the remaining contestants and thanked all those involved in the contest, especially the Support Commission, which voluntarily joined in the previous work and development of the contest that undoubtedly marks a milestone in the history of our town that now already has its flag.
