The flag is a bicolored vertical chevron of green and white. In the middle is
a modified city seal, the main ring is blue, while the two circles as well as
the city and state name are yellow. underneath the seal is a yellow ribbon with
the phrase "VOX POPULI VOX DEI".
The flag was most likely adopted between
May 2012 and October 2013 judging by Google maps timestamps at the Kenova
Welcome sign.

A variant of the flag seems to be used outside the city hall. The colors
seem lighter, the seal is bigger, and the ribbon is more detailed. The text on
the ribbon is replaced with the motto of the city "The Western Gate to the
Mountain State".

The seal is green ring which is separated by two white circles on both sides
of the ring. on the upper half of the seal is the city name, while the lower
half is the state name. on the left circle is the date "1894" which was when the
city was incorporated, the right circle shows the date "1994". In the middle is
a trisection with three different scenes. the 1st portion contains a steamboat,
the 2nd portion contains the older Dreamland Pool, and the 3rd portion contains
a steam locomotive.
The seal was adopted in 1994 during the City's
Centennial.

The logo is a dark green horizontal oval with a golden border. In the middle says "City of Kenova". A golden bar extends from the bottom of the K to the golden oval. Inside the bar is the text "WEST VIRGINIA" in dark green.
