Description of the flag

The flag was adopted in June 12, 2015. It appears to use a simplified version of the county seal. It features various industries that contributed to Mercer County's History, Such as coal mining, timber, farming and railroad. It also feature's General Hugh Mercer, Whom the county is named after. The seal is placed on an antique white field.
