According to this image, the flag of Richland County, South Carolina, is a horizontal tribar of equal green, white, and green stripes. In the center is placed an emblem, of which consists of a tree placed in a white oval, and the words ''DOCEMUS · GUBERNAMUS · AUGESCIMUS'', and the date ''1785'', on a yellow ring.
