Amesbury is in Essex County. The flag is blue with a white town seal bearing
an antique carriage, the date 1668, and in the outer ring the town and state
name.

The town became a city in 1996.

The flag appears to consist solely of the logo of the department on a solid
dark blue background. Image obtained from

The City of Amesbury in Massachusetts undertook a branding process in 2022,
out of which came a potential brand-flag which is blue with the new city logo on
it:

I reached out to the City and here is what I learned:
The City of
Amesbury, although undetaking a branding package, didn't officially adopt a
flag, nor try to produce it, so there are no copies of the flag. In fact, the
City of Amesbury is not using any flag other than the US flag, as the City was
59th Massachusetts municipality that voted in favor of changing the State flag,
and after the change of the status of town to city it also is not using the now
former town flag.
