Description of the flag

The City of Lecompton is a former capital [1855-1861] of the former Territory of Kansas. The city flag, recalling that times, bears the territorial seal on a red background, and "LECOMPTON, KANSAS" below the seal. It can be seen on the photos in Kansas Territorial Capital Museum in Lecompton
