Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base wavy a throughout Medieval bridge Argent masoned Sable with three arches, on central chief an orb Or with belt Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "AVELEDA – LOUSADA".

Presentation of Aveleda

Aveleda is one of the nine communes of Lousada Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 2127 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 3,69 km².
