Shield Argent, two grapevines Purpure leaved Vert, in chief a scallop Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals  "CANDOSO - SANTIAGO". 
Meaning:
The scallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.
