Shield Argent, a Greek cross Azure charged with five heraldic roses Or seeded Gules, in dexter chief a bundle of seven arrows Or tied Vert Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S. SEBASTIÃO DE GIESTEIRA".
Meaning:
The bundle of arrows is an attribute of St. Sebastian, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.

Shield Argent, an embattled tower Gules masoned Or with port and windows Sable, in chief a fleur-de-lis Azure between two olive branches Vert fruited Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials "NOSSA SENHORA DA BOA FÉ"
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Good Faith, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.
