Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure a Paschal lamb Argent, in chief a Maltese cross of the same. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "SÃO JOÃO DE LOURE E FROSSOS".
Meaning:
A base wavy was part of both former communal arms, the Paschal Lamb is representing the former São João de Loure Commune, the Maltese cross the former Frossos Commune.

São João de Loure e Frossos is one of the two communes of Albergaria-a-Velha Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 2753 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 18,18 km².

Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent and semy of corn cobs Gules leaved Vert , in honour point a torteau charged with a Paschal Lamb. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S. JOÃO DE LOURE".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.
