Other sites:
International Olympic Academy is legal entity of private law,
supervised by the Greek Ministry of Culture under the patronage of the IOC. "The
aim of the International Olympic Academy is to create an international cultural
center in Olympia, to preserve and spread the Olympic Spirit, study and
implement the educational and social principles of Olympism and consolidate the
scientific basis of the Olympic Ideal, in conformity with the principles laid
down by the ancient Greeks and the revisers of the contemporary Olympic
movement, through Baron Pierre de Coubertin's initiative."

The first flag was white with its golden emblem, which consists of Olympic rings
superimposed with a letter A.

Nice case of imaginary reverse, here: I saw how the Picasaweb version had a
narrow white border around the A, which made it look like it was in front of the
rings.
But the curious thing is that on their website they use a different logo. Older
versions of the website seem to use the emblem in the flag, though. A change in
house style, maybe, but if so: Will the flag be subject to that as well?

Thank you very much for your observation. You are absolutely right, thanking
to your sharp eyes.
Regarding the difference between current logo and flag, I haven't found any
other visual proof of existence of an other flag with newer logo. However,
picture was taken on 09 February 2012, so it doesn't seem to be too old.

The logo has changed and the best date I could pin it down to was in 2012; it
was used in a logo for the "52nd INTERNATIONAL SESSION FOR YOUNG PARTICIPANTS 16
– 30 JUNE 2012" and the logo can be seen at
http://www.ioa.org.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/young-participants-2012_37999-600-21.pdf.
This page shows at page 62 the flag with the new logo. A close-up of the logo
flag can be seen at page 6 of
http://www.ioa.org.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/journal-4-en_fr.pdf
As for the old logo, the first use I saw was from a document at
http://ioa.org.gr/international-session-for-young-participants/ from 1980
publishing of the "INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC ACADEMY NINETEENTH SESSION 6 - 19 JULY
1979 ". The logo itself is only present on the binding and not used in any of
the photos displayed. In the 1981 report of the Twentieth Session (1980), the
logo is used
http://www.ioa.org.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/young-participants-1980-37972-600-21.pdf
(page 20). However, I cannot discern if a flag was adopted then or not. Yet, it
is safe to say that the logo we display currently on the page was used from
1980-2012. I also cannot discern if a special flag for the IOA was used from
1961 - 1979 but the reports can be seen and downloaded from
http://ioa.org.gr/international-session-for-young-participants/.
