The town emblem was adopted in Oct 1965 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana き Ki of Kikai. The circle symbolizes a conformity and a solidarity, the umbonal parts in both side do a soar, a development, a peace and a clean town administration.
