The Flag

The flag of the town of Tsurugi is white with mark.

The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue and a green two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana つ Tsu of Tsurugi. The blue color stands for a fresh stream and a blue sky, the green color for the nature and the inside white space for Mt. Tsurugi. It represents a healing hometown enveloped with an abundant nature.
