The Flag

The flag of the city of Unnan is white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Nov 1st 2004 by Notice No 141 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red , an orange two color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized U of Unnan. That is an image of a new  homeland of Japan in which vivid nature, the people, the city, the life and the myth are still alive. As a whole, it represents the city which develops and makes a leap forward to the future.
