The village emblem was adopted on Sep 15th 1964 but there is no flag law.  The blue flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana み Mi of Minamiyamashiro. The center intersection symbolizes a solidarity. It represents a peace, a conjugation and a development.
