The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Nov 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 and 2. The purple flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is an image of Takeda family crest water catrop and four brilliant grape berries. It represents abundant nature, orchards with long history and culture and interchanging city.

The flag of the former city of Enzan was green with mark. The city is now, from 2005, part of the city of Koshu.

The design features the katakana character エン “En” and the kanji character 山 for “mountain” arranged in the shape of wings to symbolize the city's growth. The city's name is written in white kanji at the bottom.

Katsunuma Town / 勝沼町

The flag of the former town of Katsunuma was purple with mark. The town is now, from 2005, part of the city of Koshu.

The design features a bunch of grapes at its center, with the shape of the leaves symbolizing the harmony among the townspeople. The village name is written in white kanji characters at the bottom.
