The town emblem was adopted in 1964 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a combination of stylized Chinese character Taka 高 and Katakana Hama ハマ. The inner ring symbolizes Meikyodo sea cave and upper triangle represents permanent hope and advance of the town.
