There's a variant flag for CERN seen in this video (0:51):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kPw8Ab27iM&feature=youtu.be 
It is a white square flag with this
logo in the middle, being and inverted color scheme to the one we currently 
have. The variant version of the logo does not have the outside square limiting 
the inner figures. I guess the organizing committee probably overlooked 
dimensions in flags, since all of the flags displayed in this parade are square.
