Description of the Flag

Established in 1982, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation is the owner, among other railway lines, the formerly-British section of the eponymous Kowloon-Canton Railway (opened in 1910), although the operation of its entire rail network has been leased to MTR since 2 December 2007.

The logo flag was adopted in August 1997, based on an earlier version of the logo adopted in 1982 (which is not known to have been used on flags).
