The burgee for the Royal Gourock Yacht Club in Scotland. The club's history
can be found at:
http://www.rgyc.org.uk/index.php?p=aboutus. I have been in contact with the
club's Commodore and they are themselves curious as to the origins of the
burgee's badge. We all know that there is a Celtic connection by virtue of the
cross but are wondering if the color of the cross and the shield carry any
significance. If anyone knows anything about the club, input would be
appreciated.
