The flag of Saceda-Trasierra is prescribed by an Order issued on 13
December 1995 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on
29 December 1995 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 64,
p. 6,965 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3, composed of a panel with a green and black serrated border, the municipal arms in the center, in width 2/3 of the flag's width.
The coat of arms of Saceda-Trasierra is prescribed by an Order issued on 13
December 1995 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on
29 December 1995 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 64,
p. 6,965 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Argent three fesses sable superimposed in the center by a willow eradicated vert the trunk proper and in chief dexter by a Cross of Saint James gules. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
The Royal Academy of History found the proposed arms "totally compliant
with good style", but suggested to improve them by dropping the Cross of
the Order of Saint James. Very small, the cross is not visible on the
fessy shield and breaks the symmetry of the whole design, to which it is
"absolutely unnecessary". It is not adequate to represent the willow
proper due to its superimposition to the fessy shield. The Academy
proposed to amend the arms as "Fessy argent and sable a willow vert. The
shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown".
The Academy accepted the proposed flag "without any difficulty".
