Shield Or, an eradicated linden Vert, charged on stem by an inescutcheon Gules, charged with an eagle Argent armed Or. 
Meaning:
The linden is a canting element. The inescutcheon displays the arms of the Counts of Lindow-Ruppin. They founded the city and a namesake Cistercian Nunnery between 1230 and 1240.
