It is a red-white vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top. The banner, perhaps plain, existed since 1925.

Schwaigern Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, three annulets Argent ordered 1:2.
Meaning:
The settlement was located beneath a castle of the Counts of Neipperg. It became a fiefdom of Württemberg. In 1444 the Neipperg kin gained the rights to judge pleas of life and member (German: Blutbann), granted by the Holy Roman Empire. The first seal got lost in 1511. Prints of the second seal are known between 1512 and 1626. It displayed the Neipperg arms with the annulets, supported by St. John the Baptist with Labarum and Paschal Lamb. The whole ensemble placed onto a bigger shield is considered to be the full coat of arms since 1959.

Oberlauda, borough of Lauda-Königshofen, and Schwaigern city in effect have the same symbols. In Oberlauda however the annulets are a bit smaller. Neipperg, borough of Brackenheim, and Schwaigern city have the same arms. The colours in both banners however are in different order.
