It is a white-red-white vertical triband, either without arms (see left image above) or with coat of arms shifted to the top (see right image above).

Shield Azure, a sinister facing wyvern reguardant Argent, chief Argent parted by four lozenges Gules.
Meaning:
The four lozenges are taken from the arms of the former namesake municipality. They are also taken from the arms of the Barons, later Counts of Lerchenfeld. The wyvern is the attribute of St. Margaret, patron saint of the parish of Günzlhofen.
