Santa Luzia island one of two that is part of a municipality that
spans more than one island: São Vicente
Municipality covers both the eponymous nearby
island and Santa Luzia. The latter however is not inhabited, so the
matter of seeing a municipal flag as an island flag is moot.

Horta, Santa Luzia island was once previously administered as part of the
Ribeira Brava municipality (on São
Nicolau island).
