Oberiberg

On yellow a green yew with red fruits on a green mountain of three coupeaux (cf. Unteriberg).

Iberg comes from Ibrig, which in the local dialect means yew (German: Eibe).
In the past, yew was valued for its tough wood, which was used to make weapons.
