On 1 January 2015 the new commune of Domleschg was formed through the merger of Almens, Paspels, Pratval, Rodels and Tomils (see below).

On 1 January 2009 the new commune of Tomils was formed through the merger of Feldis/Veulden, Scheid, Trans and Tumegl/Tomils (see below).
The star below the chevron stands for Tumegl/Tomils, which lies down in the valley, while the other three villages lie high above the valley floor.
