Lloydminster City Council has decided that as of July 20, 2012 a flag representing Treaty 6 will be permanently raised and displayed in front of City Hall. This is a gesture designed to symbolize the relationship the City of Lloydminster has with the First Nations Peoples in the local community of Onion Lake.
