In December 2009 there was a flag design contest for town of Westville. In January 2010 the finalists' art work supposed to be displayed on the Town's website where citizens can vote for their favorite flag. But they didn't.

At http://www.westville.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100:flag-contest-update&catid=43:news it says:
"Due to some difficulties with the Westville Flag Contest we have decided to pull the contest down. We will be reposting the contest for all to enter at a later date. Those who have already entered the contest need not worry, though, as we have your entries and they will be considered when the contest is re-launched."
