Garevac is a village in the municipality of Modriča. Before the war, Bosnia
and Herzegovina had about 2,700 inhabitants, mostly Croats. Today, there is a
slightly larger number of inhabitants, but the ethnic structure of the village
has changed, and the village is mainly represented by Serbs. Croats now make up
a quarter of the village's population. They actually use two flags, which can be
said to be the flags of the Garevac Parish rather than the Garevac village
itself.
