The Ministry of Interior Affairs is responsible for law 
enforcement, civil order and fighting crime. The Ministry maintained the Afghan 
National Police (ANP), the General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) and 
the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Centers (GDPDC).
In

General Directorate for Intelligence and Counter Crime

It has been de facto dissolved as of August 15, 
2021 by the Taliban takeover of most of the country, along with its capital.
